Superintendent

Dr. Rachel Savage 

Dr. Rachel Savage joined Moline-Coal Valley as Superintendent of Schools in July of 2019. She has over 30 years of experience in the field of education. She has served as Superintendent, High School Administrator, Elementary and Middle School Principal, and High School teacher. She has also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Dubuque and Northeast Iowa Community College. She holds a Doctoral degree in K-12 Organizational Leadership, a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and another in Educational Administration. 

Dr. Savage is married to Dr. Eric Savage, a Professor in the Aviation Department at Purdue University and a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Aviation and Flight for Southern Illinois University. She has a daughter, Gabriella, and a son, RJ.
